Hi, I’m jerbrina Johnson!

A Southern Belle through and through, I was born and raised in the South and love everything magnolias and peaches!  As a native of Mississippi, I graduated with honors from THEE Jackson State University and The University of Mississippi, better known as Ole Miss.  During my last semester of law school, I had an itch to see something new and decided to intern with the Georgia Innocence Project in Atlanta assisting with the release of wrongfully convicted inmates.  This internship was fulfilling as I was able to work on legislation to compensate a recent exoneree, which was ultimately successful. After joining the Georgia Bar and founding J. L. Johnson & Associates in 2006, I began working exclusively in the area of family law and have helped my clients with divorce, custody, child support, legitimation, contempt, grandparent’s rights, modifications, paternity and pre/post nuptial agreements for the past sixteen years. 

For the past decade, I have also served as a Guardian Ad Litem in the Superior Courts of Georgia and secured settlements for clients injured in automobile accidents.  After almost two decades of giving my all in the family law arena, I decided to expand my practice area to educating and servicing small business owners through trademark and copyright services, legal consulting and both preparing necessary documents for owners/entrepreneurs and providing affordable self-help, downloadable forms.  I am still serving as a Guardian Ad Litem in family law cases, as I love children and love the opportunity to give recommendations as to their best interests in custody and parenting time matters.  As the managing attorney for the corporate division of Perimeter Law Group, I’m excited to continuing giving the best of me to my clients and the community!  Contact me below!
